Does turbulenceFD emitt from weightmaps in cinema4D

I do not have cinema4d, but I am curious since I feel the turbulenceFD Lightwave version seems to be crippled compared to the cinema version, and I was wondering, does cinema4d and that turbulence version allow for weight map fluid emission? Blender has this nicely with it´s own fire and smoke, so h...

Interactive mode in lightwave?

I thought there was an interactive mode being able to tweak the settings while simulating?

Scene samples content not rendering at all.

Noticed that big blast scene samples doesn´t render at all with f9, it used to in older samples, and it renders in vpr. have to track it down if I got time. Velocity is cached, and active density and temp channels, in container, and also removed envelopes on the temp and density channel in the fluid...

Both rendering and editing maps extremly slow??

I have tried various older versions of turbulenceFD, but the latest release, and despite I got a much better machine now.. former windows 7 asus nvidia gtx 480 older core processors and 12 gb of ram, and often using 32 bit at that time.. now windows 10 asus nvidia gtx 1080 32 gib of ram and using 64...

Weight emission?

I was looking to see if the newer versions could use weight maps, have been asking for that for some time, but it´s not implemented, would be great if it had. Have been trying out turbulenceFD more and more now with my new system and it work quite nicely so far without crashes, but things like missi...

Looking good.

Well....got me a new machine now, asus G20cb gtx 1080...so now turbulence simulates very fast. Still got some things now I would like to see, I haven´t got any answers still around wether or not particle advection will be an option with lightwave next, maybe it´s the NDA or the development of Lightw...

Re: Particle Advection ..when?

Bumping this again, Before mailing jascha and see if you jump in and can answer here for all to see. How about the upcoming Lightwave version, do you know if the changes is made to the sdk so it now allows for particle advection with turbulenceFD and lightwave particles. Cheers Michael/prometheus on...

Re: Trying to create clouds to fly through

Gee...it was a very long time ago I fiddled with turbulenceFD...however, the last install I made. v1.0 rev 1009 :) yeah..still got old drivers.. in that you can go to turbulence fluid container menu, in the turbulenceFD rendering tab/General set a value of minus in frame offset. For instance ..if yo...

Re: Particle Advection ..when?

Thanks Jascha and Md harrington. I posted a comment about it in the newtek forums/lightwave features section, and I can just hope the lw team takes notice of it and put it in their agenda if possible to work on the sdk for particles, they also need to get it a bit better intergrated with bullet and ...
