Providing you haven't figured this out already, its PFX.
the only solution to this I have found is by generating PfX at high frame rates and working with TFD in that kind of scene. Once you have your material there,you can sort it for proper speed in the container in your scene master.

So in the end, try avoid using multi-sampled lights if at all possible with TFD.

Well looks like I spoke too soon. 1407 has a nasty crash (always) problem with scenes where more than one container is present. It will crash the moment multiscatter for the first container completes and triest to start the processing on the second one in the scene. I'm not sure if its absolutely re...

Olahaldor is correct in his assumptions. Mark, are you caching to an external USB drive? Even on my nice USB3 drive I see a major hit and reduction in GPU tasking compared to the SSD drive I normally use but is small (purely scratch disc for this kind of work). Even on a standard issue sata III 7200...
