Re: Render TFD as a mesh

I talked a bit more with those guys, they told me they do it via krakatoa particles that again somehow magically they mesh in RF haha. Thanks for the help. I ve achieved similar workflow so far much easier not even xpresso, i just advect XP from TFD , and mesh those direct (uses openvdb same as r20)...

Re: Render TFD as a mesh

Ye i know i mean i own rf for c4d :) Rf in c4d doesnt read vdb same way as it doesnt read TP. I mean it does but only once u emit from a RF emiter. There is no command of some short like "take this vdb or those particles and mesh em". U need a realflow emitter to generate stuff. From there has other...

Render TFD as a mesh

Hi, i saw some renderings from TFD as a mesh via realflow or krakatoa or both, owner doesnt describe the process he just says "tfd inside reaflow".
Is there a way to achieve this?

Re: Temperature vs Density

Cool thanks a lot. One last question since u are here, cause i dont find ppl to ask about tfd in general hehe. Scene/objects scale, is it important in tfd? I find myself many times using unrealistic scales cause of RealFlow that i use inside c4d and i was wondering if TFD can play ball along with th...

Re: Temperature vs Density

Thanks a lot! I bought ur course is very helpful, though this fundamental concept of things in tfd and in general in fluids is a bit confusing for me and its very important to understand it well to move on :)

PC restarts while sim

Hi, when i cache even if my gpu vram seems to fit the scene, sometimes the pc just instantly restarts. Is this a bug or im using more resources than i can? Btw, even if im on gpu while caching, cpu runs at 100%. Any thoughts? thanks

Temperature vs Density

Hi, sorry to ask this fundamental stuff, but im a bit confused on how those 2 interact. I can use temperature to drive everything so far, and i was wondering what is the difference with density? And how do i determine the amount of each channel? I saw in an example scene temperature 1 and density 2 ...
