Re: Turbulence and Vray for C4D

It's up to the renderer to support TFD grids. TFD provides an SDK to access the voxel data and shaders.
The issue with VrayForC4d on MacOS causing a crash when TFD is installed seems to have been resolved in the latest VrayForC4d version (VrayBridge_R18_macOS_20171004).

Re: Turbulence and prorender R19

Unfortunately, the R19 GPU renderer does not support rendering TFD containers or any custom shaders for that matter. It is unclear at this point when this will be possible.

Thank you for creating the bug report.
In order look into this issue, i'll need some additional information.
Please attach the crash report from C4D or MacOS on your bug report.

Re: Modo

Modo folks have already been in contact since the Luxology days. Modo support is on the roadmap for the next release. It's the core engine of the next release that takes its time. That's because its much bigger and trickier than TFD1.

Re: OPEN VDB!

The OpenVDB import/export is a core engine feature and will be available in all plugins.

Re: GPU Rendering issues QUADRO 5000

This is a known issue with legacy Nvidia GPUs with Compute Capability 2.0 and older.
I’m hoping that this can be fixed soon, but i cannot give an ETA at this point.

Re: OPEN VDB!

Unfortunately you can't do this in the current release version.
The next version supports OpenVDB import and export.
There is no release date yet, though.
