Re: Temperature vs Density

it works on real world scales but that is not something to get to concerned with. Low res sims will allow you to quickly see if it "looks" right and at the end of the day it is all smoke and mirrors

Re: Temperature vs Density

It is like quantum mechanics..no one understands it, not even Jascha. You feel it. Jascha gives us the tools but.. I seek the rule maker. Sorry a bit ripped.

Re: Temperature vs Density

Temperature is what will drive the buoyancy and will make density rise, as well as anything else such as fuel which has not ignited. If you add a spherical emitter with density but no temperature the density will just sit there and dissipate. Add temp and the density will rise. If you use fuel inste...

Re: Change Smoke Color

As the smoke dissipates it's density will lessen so you can base smoke colour on density. Or try temperature to drive the smoke channel..as it cools it will change colour according to the gradient you set

Re: Performance GPU CPU

No slow down here sims at 1m 21 sec then 1 min 19 sec on Geoforce Titan 6GB. I am saving caches to a separate drive TFD ver 1 rev 1433
