Re: First Attempt at Camera Tracking

Not sure about the MAC thing but you really should be able to play it as xvid is a very common codec on par with divx, if MAC users cannot play xvid then they are really missing out. Thing is xvid is very good at compression in fact it is one of the best compression cidecs i have come across..try th...

Re: First Attempt at Camera Tracking

OK here is test 2, just comping the TFD to the camera track and experiment with Matte objects so the shadow goes behind the lampost and the wall/hedge on the left. The left wall matte is a bit off so the shadow on the ground ends to short, no adjustments. I think i can now move on to something more ...

Re: First Attempt at Camera Tracking

The smoke is there, just not that obvious, The idea was to get the feel of camera tracking techniques as i am new to thyat having just got the camcorder. I have to learn about things like stabalization and then how best to match out of focus shots from the real footgae to the C4D camera, DOF etc. Th...

First Attempt at Camera Tracking

Just bought a new cheap (£100) camcorder and decided to have a go at motion tracking for the first time and compositing TFD. For a first attempt it is not bad ( ignore the rough and ready fire) but i have loads to learn about matchmoving !!

Re: Wind Tunnel Test

I am not sure it really needs a tutorial as TFD does all the work. Simply place a few sphere emiiters at the correct points on your car model, sides roof wind shields etc then move them back and use directional force to push the smoke down the wind tunnel. TFD takes care of the rest if the car model...

Rendering TP Points Driven By TFD

We know TP particles can be driven by a TFD sim and we also know that we can either use those particles to drive a new sim and render with TFD or use pyrocluster on the points but you can also use hair to render out individual points, in their millions ( an idea i got from KsiKsu at CGtalk). This is...
