Re: Ink in water effects?

OK this may not be ink but it does get us near the krakatoa method. On CGtalk someone mentioned using hair to render out the TP points. i was skeptical at first thinling it would be very slow but it is in fact very fast and quite good with memory 10 million particles at around 6GB rendered 300 frame...

Re: Ink in water effects?

Virtually every ink sim i have seen done with FumeFX was also rendered using Krakatoa. I doubt if it would be that easy to get the thick/thin look using just fumefx or TFD. However to get the movement you could try setting a sim up with a highly chaotic and turbulent emitter perhaps just using temp ...

Re: R12 dynamics

No... you have to have actual geomtery for TP and TFD

Re: [WIP] gaz pipes

Saying that there is some odd behaviour with smoke inside objects such as pipes and i will ask Jascah about it

Re: [WIP] gaz pipes

2 different gases with different colours is not possible at the moment, though you could use two containers using different colours for each smoke however they will not interact I am not sure what you want from your scene explanation so if you could post a simplified scene and an explanation of what...

Re: Wind Tunnel Test

I will do a tut soon but it is mainly a case of emitters and a car collider then working on the smoke shading graph

Re: R12 dynamics

See my TP tutorial then add objects as particles and give the geometry object a TFD tag

Re: stuttering Simulation

In your TFD sim window it will tell you the version

Re: stuttering Simulation

No stuttering here, what version are you using ?
Generally i would suggest baking all dynamics animation stuff prior to running T4D

and i would use a flattened cube for the dynamics floor instead of a plane, the collision detection will be better
