I have replied to this but just to add it here, the "sparks" are matterwave generated thinking particles. Emission is based on the animated bgadient used to drive the burnt match texture reveal

Just an update i have just d/l an auto update and the pagefile usage seems to be solved now. I am not sure if it was a problem with public builds but early bird users may want to check for the update

I know what you mean but in an ideal studio a dedicated "sim artist" would soon get the feel for the settings and adjustments will become intuitive, give them a quad 6 core xeon rig and several more for network rendering and it becomes a lot easier !!!

look at your smoke shader it is set to fast low quality try the "corrected* quality setting, also your smoke curve is very harsh try setting it to default ( right click and choose default) But you may find another problem. watch your pagefile usage grow especially at render, mine gives up at 31 GB p...

I think it is an issue with the pagefile. Check in task manager and see how much PF usage is. Jascha is aware of this and working on it
