If TFD renderer is checked no scene objects will render in R21…ahh only seems to happen if there is no TFD container in the scene. I had my default setup to always have tfd renderer on in render settings for some reason. Though it does mean if you switch the container off to render the scene alone you have to also switch TFD off in render settings…maybe I am being dumb dumb and it has always been like this ?
