LW TFD on MacOS with eGPU?

Hi @Jascha_Wetzel,

I am a long time Lightwave user on MacOS and was wondering if TFD can benefit from the addition of an eGPU.
If so, any recommendations?

The performance gain from using a GPU for simulation can be substantial. However, MacOS Catalina has dropped support Nvidia GPUs entirely. If you are still using MacOS Mojave or older, you can use any Nvidia GPU as an eGPU to accelerate your simulations. When choosing a GPU, prefer the one with the most memory.
Support for non-Nvidia GPUs on MacOS is on the roadmap for future versions of TFD.
