1477 Update doesnt INSTALL and older versions wont work on R23 atm

1477 should install and run on R23. What exactly happens when you run the installer?
Note that if you get a blue “Windows protected your PC” warning, you’ll have to click More Info, then Run Anyway to start the installer.
Since TFD has only recently started using .exe installers, SmartScreen does not trust them yet.

You can see here, 1476 installer works, but 1477 is bugged, installer does not open even in Admin run.
EVEN IF I WANTED TO USE 1476 AGAIN I CANT

1477 installs and works fine for me on Win10 R24.111 running a Titan X and a 1070 GTX. Check all your drivers are up to date.
Issue 1
If you are using a 3rd party Anti-Virus tool other than Windows Defender, please try disabling it, restart the system and then try running the installer again.
Also try uninstalling any previously installed version of TFD first.
Issue 2
Directly after the crash and before restarting C4D, please send the TurbulenceFD log file:
(Windows) %APPDATA%\jawset\turbulence.log
(MacOS) ~/Library/Preferences/jawset/turbulence.log
If you get an crash report from C4D, please send the file _BugReport.txt that it mentions in the message.
