Well, I found the issue – something conflicts with another plugin
after I realized that it opens with all other plugins removed – I returned each plugin one by one to find the culprit. Turns out it is Vonc Suite https://code.vonc.fr/ (specifically I have deplage/unfolder)
For some reason when it is installed with TFD, the software doesn’t finish opening.
For now my solution is to just remove ‘unfolder’ but – I thought I should let you know about this as well
