RS Demo v 2.6.54 Installed

Thanks. Does this happen right after starting the app? Otherwise, when exactly?

Direct on start-up

Could you try removing
%homepath%\ReactionsData\settings\settings.json
and restart?
Thanks.

Done and no change

Could you try the latest Nvidia Studio Driver io. the Game Ready driver?

I am using the latest 26.21.14.4587 Game Ready driver …well that is the one Nvidia offers on their site… GRD

On the Nvidia driver download page you can select Download Type = Studio Driver (SD)

OK yeah gonna d/l the studio 442.92 Give me a few mins

The words Nvidia and Drivers always send me into a vilest rage…having retrieved my PC twice after throwing it out of the window and installing an reinstalling drivers a multitude of times. and that meant times where one card would be fine then another then none and ripping cards out, jamming them back in i al sorts for card/driver permutations FINALLY…both seem to have taken the driver…Seem to… as I have not rebooted yet though reactions loads fine. Fingers crossed

Menus at the top are sticky meaning you have to click to close them and they are not mouse over sensitive

And I a totally lost again getting the example explosion to sim. Can you give me a 1 2 3 steps plant to sim and render and what eactly do the buttons on the bottom right of the time ;line actually do !! I keep taking breaks for Reactions then get so lost when Fire it up again !!

There is an bug in 6394 that brakes the explosion scene.
Try https://www.jawset.com/builds/reactions/windows/1.0-6316-gfaa7e18bb
Then pressing play is all you should need to do.

on 6316 now pressing play does not sim or cache beyond the first frame

Could you attach the log file?

Thank you.

reactions.zip (59.4 KB) Sorry may be loads of old stuff in this log !! Seems to cache something on the cpu but not the gpu

This issue should be resolved in the build 6404.
