Pre Roll frames

Question for the Lightwave 3D version

Is the only way to get pre roll frames for your sims, to use negative frames on the timeline? For example if you were doing a fire sim, is there a way to create your sim 100 frames in already calculated so your starting frame would already have the fire burning at its peak

You can load the start state for your simulation from a file set in the ‘Load Simulation State From File’ parameter (see Timing | TurbulenceFD for LightWave).
You can pick any cache file (*.bcf) from a previous cache. The cache file should contain velocity (‘Cache Velocity’ checked, see Container | TurbulenceFD for LightWave).
